Welcome to the Boomdeeay Clay online gallery.

Norahkin Wave Potts began taking shape in 2009 while I was teaching Art at Our Lady of the Elms HS.  Each Pott has evolved with its own personality changing from the artist mind's-eye into its organic self.

The Norahkin Wave Potts, created from Pennsylvania White Clay, are constructed using the coil method.  Each Pott takes four to six weeks to create.  I have learned to let go of the process, while staying focused on continued growth and trusting my Higher Power for quality control.

As much as I would like to make the Potts to order, I find every Pott has a mind of its own and only a glimmer can be gleaned from the original vision.
